Uçansu Waterfall

Hidden deep within the pine forests, a hidden treasure that sparkles at the heart of nature with its turquoise ponds and crystal-clear waters.

On the Mediterranean-facing slopes of Antalya, hidden within the untouched nature of the Taurus Mountains, Uçansu Waterfall truly lives up to the term “hidden paradise.” Located in Gebiz, within the Serik district, this natural wonder cascades in two main streams: Upper and Lower Uçansu. Especially during winter and spring, when the snow melts, the waterfall surges, plunging from a height of around 50 meters like a delicate white veil into a massive basin, surrounded by turquoise pools that create a breathtaking visual spectacle. Far from the crowds of Belek, this ecosystem is alive only with the sounds of birds and the gentle rush of water, framed by ancient plane trees and rich Mediterranean maquis flora. Preserving the region’s biodiversity and maintaining the natural integrity of its water resources for sustainable tourism is a core part of BETUYAB’s environmental vision. Uçansu is not just a scenic spot; it is also one of the most striking stops along historical trails like the St. Paul Trail. Immersing yourself in the natural pools formed by the waterfall’s cool waters offers a rare chance to connect with the wild, serene spirit hidden in the mountainous interior of the Mediterranean. Every drop reflects the vitality of life, making Uçansu one of nature’s most elegantly crafted monuments.
